Beautiful Spring Day
Today has been an absolutely fantastic spring day. Warm, sunny, with only a slight breeze — while there have been a few good days in the past week or so, today really was superlative.
On the way back from the gym (no jacket needed — t-shirt weather!) I noticed that all that daffodils had come out, seemingly overnight. Combined with the last of the crocuses,who braved coming into the light about three weeks ago, Hulme Park, where I live, is a beautiful place right now.
(The daffodils never last long. The park is also next to a primary school, and the kids there steal quite a few. I’d like to think they are taking them home to their mums, as I did when I was that age)
